Model: RE655BE   RE815XE   Archer BE800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.6

I'm very keen to buy the WiFi-7 RE655BE.

I have BE800 router (11520+5760+1376Mbps) + RE705X (2402+574Mbps) before.  Due to lack of 6GHz so I replaced using RE815XE (2402+2402+574Mbps) which has additional speed at 6GHz .  However, it still not really have good transmissions to handle my five 2.4/5GHz wireless CCTV, I guest it is due to both RE815XE & RE705X are the same 574Mbps at 2.4GHz.

When I saw RE655BE introductions, its 2.4GHz 688Mbps & 5GHz 4323Mbps should reduce the steaming & playback lag problems.  Also the MLO should works on MESH which will help a lot too.

TP-Link CS, when the RE655BE will be launched?

  @Kinkeen

Hi, There hasn't been any news about the release date of RE655BE. I'm afraid it might take quite a while.

Thank you very much and best regards.

  @David-TP

Hi David,

It is another 1.5 months already but the RE655BE still not available in the marker.  I really want it to replace my RE815XE.

I checked my BE800 setup webpage which the EasyMesh router mode looks like that if I add another Archer router to be satellite router then I can extend my wireless coverage as using RE extender.  Is it right?  If I add a BE550 or the coming soon BE805 to join my BE800 EasyMesh, will the MLO, guest and IoT WiFi also extend?

Thanks,

I actually saw one in my local Best Buy last Saturday. It's quite expensive at $299.99 but I don't think there's a better range extender on the market...
