Hello, thank you for posting on the TP-Link community, and we certainly appreciate all your feedback and feature request(s) here.
While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if the feature can come to your home router, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.
I'm moving this conversation into the ‘Feature Request (Routers)' area and tagging it as a ‘Future Consideration’ for better visibility.
Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.

I am after wireguard support on Archer AX73 v1.0 so you have another vote for feature request.

Hi, I wonder why this modern router doesn't have wireguard support?
I see old AX72 has, I expect to have same functionality on newer models?

Hello. I really need Wireguard support in my Ax 73. When will this be implemented?

I am very upset with the current course of the TP Link company. I once bought an 842nd, installed openWRT on it and it was the best router in its time. Now, I can't get wireguard VPN support for several years! I am forced to temporarily use a combination of Mikrotik + Tplink. temporarily, because I will never buy tplink again and will not recommend it to anyone. I'm very very very disappointed with the current support. compiling the Wareguard package for the router processor takes a few days.... sad =(((

Well some VPN providers (like mullvad) are even starting to drop OpenVPN support in about a year from now. This will be a tendency, and with no support in a router like AX73 which should last viable for some years. It is a shame.
