Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: ER605(UN)_V2.6_2.2.4 Build 20240119

Hello,

Recently, I purchased an ER605 V2.

Previously, I had an AX1500 router.

It is for my home setup of the Wi-Fi Network.

I have two ISP providers (Airtel & Jio).

I also wanted load-balancing, so I purchased an ER605.

When I tried to set up ER605 without the Omada Controller Software directly accessing it with 192.168.0.1, I saw that the status link was up for my two ISPs.

Then, I connected the AX1500 router with ER605 and the RJ45 cable. On ER605, I used one LAN port, and on AX1500, I used the WAN port for physical connection.

But the internet connection isn't established on my AX1500.

Later, I reset the factory and tried to configure it with the Omada Software Controller software.

After the website was created, when I went to adopt the gateway from the unknown list, it did not show AX1500. Also, adoption was failing.

Then again, it restarts the adoption process, showing connected. After a few seconds, it shows provisioning and asks to reboot ER605 in the action column.

When trying to reboot, it's saying configuration is not successful. And not showing as the connected device.

I am clueless about how to integrate ER605 with AX1500.

The setup manual is for standalone mode, so I followed that, but the internet is not connected to my AX1500 router.

I used a quick setup on AX1500.

Please help me.

Hi @Sumanta

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

1. For the step-by-step walkthrough, call your local support number.

2. We did not advertise AX1500 would be compatible with the Omada. Omada is a separate series and brand of the business product line. So, you don't find AX1500 on the Omada controller for certainty.

3. It does not ask you to reboot proactively. Don't click the button unless you know what you are doing. What you did is manually reboot your device. I don't know why you did that.

4. I recommend you read the User Guide of the Omada Controller from the official website. Modem > WAN_ER605_LAN > WAN_AX1500.

Or set up your AX1500 as the AP mode. For the steps, please contact the home support.

The problem is almost certainly that the AX1500 LAN IP subnet is the same as the ER605 ( 192.168.0.x ). If you wish to use the AX1500 in router mode you will need to change its LAN IP subnet OR as @Clive_A  says change the AX1500 to Access Point Mode ( page 18 of the manual )
