hi, i have a problem with my archer ax 55 and apple devices, very often thw wifi network isn't working, the web page keeps loading and the only way to get it work again is to turn off and on the wifi connection on my iphone. It happens several times a day, at least every 10 minutes

The issue happens only on apple devices, i have 3 iphone and an ipad at home.

I also have a range tp link extender, a RE300

I tried everything,

1) different names on 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz on the main router with mesh (so 2 SSID)

2) Smart connect on the main router and mesh (so 1 SSID)

3) smart connect on the main router and no mesh and 2 different SSID on the extender, (so 3 SSID)

4) no smart connect on the main router and extender (so 4 SSID)

i tried to change channel, wpa version, DNS, assigned static IP, disabled the mac randomization on iphone, forget and rejoin the network, reset network settiing on iphone, reset router and extender, i also tried to use the router without the extender

all my devices are on the latest firmware, i repeat, the issue happens ONLY on apple devices, all the other devices works fine.

i saw that it's a know issue on the forum and they aren't fixing the issue. 

so please if someone managed to fix this issues let me know.

I would try the latest AX55 firmware to see if that fixes the issue.  The firmware may be found here.  It's only available on the TW site for now and it works for all regional versions (US/EU/etc) of the AX55.

  @jra11500 tested the new firmware and no luck.

it's a shame, this issue is well known across all forum and to link itself and they just ignore it

I'm sorry to hear the upgraded firmware did not fix your issue.  Here I have 3 iPhones (2 iPhone8 and 1 iPhone5) and they haven't experienced any issues since last year.  I realize that these are older iPhone models and only feature an 802.11ac interface.

 

If your devices are newer models, have you tried changing the Mode setting under Advanced, Wireless, and each band's advanced settings to exclude the "ax" option?  That's not a fix but it might help in isolating the problem.

already tried, no luck

some people told me to completely disable the 5ghz WiFi network, I didn't want to lose 5ghz WiFi but I'll give it a try

So I tried to set up a guest network, I'll use that for few days and I want to see if I have connection losses
