Future Consideration make Guest and IoT Networks Mesh-able and extendable
as per title, and per image bellow:
it is absolutely useless to have an option to enable Guest and IoT Network if they are NOT transmitted/extended by EasyMesh
we have guests up there and surprise-surprise we also have a lot of IoT devices up there and all over the place. whole point of having Geust and IoT Network is to unload and secure the main wifi network. it is unacceptable to not have an option to extend those too.
what if we want to connect IoT devices up there too? or what if we do not need Guest Network down there at all, only up?
therefore, make it happen to be able to select multiple (at least) 2,4Ghz SSIDs to be extended when establishing EasyMesh Network
as things are now we can do only:
- not use Guest and IoT Networks and have all devices and guests on the main wifi network
- buy 4 more extenders to extend Guest and IoT Networks in two directions (UNACCEPTABLE) and even with those 4 more extenders they won't be part of EasyMesh
- complain, suggest future request, wait and finally sell all TP-Link faulty products and move to other brand which supports such basic functionality

We need Guest and IoT Networks Mesh-able and extendable

It's very disappointing. My setup is a mesh using an ax55 nd ax23 and my iOT and Guest devices are connected to the main network which is not meant for them :(.
I had assumed the iOT and Guest networks would hace extended on Easymesh, it's such a basic feature.

I want this also.
I have two AX72 V1 Routers (EU Version) using Easymesh over Ethernet backhaul.
As of the very latest firmware (October 2025) Version 1.4.5 Build 20250928 rel.17568(4555), you still cannot extend the Guest and the IoT networks from the AX72 in satellite mode.
Now that DoT and DoH are available and stable on Firmware 1.4.5 - this Guest and IoT issue is the one remaining bit of functionality that has me considering a switch to ASUS if it is not addressed. They enable when using their AIMesh.

This should be available (guest network and IoT network) without any discussion in the BE550. They haven’t even finished implementing all the features, yet they’re already announcing the success of WiFi 8. In fact, we should file a class action lawsuit for compensation — maybe that would motivate them to take some action.
