Almost every video player out there has a skip feature where you can easily skip forwards/backwards by 10 seconds.
Check any YouTube video for example. While watching a YouTube video, double-tap the right side of the video to skip ahead 10 seconds. Double-tap the left side of the video to skip back 10 seconds. You can even triple/quadruple tap for 20+ second skips.
This feature is essential for reviewing security footage with the Tapo app. Even just a button that we can click to skip ahead/back 10 seconds would be good enough.
Sometimes I need to easily rewatch a specific moment over and over. I know there is a slider at the bottom to navigate through the video, but this slider is impossible to use when you just need to go back 10 seconds to rewatch something. Go try for yourself to use that slider to go 10 seconds backwards over and over to rewatch a certain part multiple times and see how you'll begin to go insane.

Necessary/useful for both rewatching part of a clip or skipping ahead to the part of the clip that is of interest. As it stands, to rewatch, you have to select the clip again and watch potentially a large amount of the clip, or change the playback speed and hope you don't miss what you're looking for. None of these workarounds are usable and having a +10/-10 button on the player would solve this.

This is such a simple feature that would GREATLY enhance the functionality of the app and camera itself. I use mine for monitoring 3D printing, and I have frequently been trying to troubleshoot exactly where an error occurred in the print. Having to use the scrub bar to try to go back 30 seconds is massively frustrating. This is actually enough of a hindrance to prevent me recommending your cameras to other people at this time.

@Kezzi This is absolutely crazy that in 2026 there is no skip feature. As mentioned, just try it yourself and see how impossible it is. Decent hardware, but if this simple fix can't be implemented, hard to want to outfit my entire home with them. Makes finding the issue more of a chore than necessary.
