Hi everyone

Hope you are doing good.

I have question regarding Asher Ax55.

There is VPN written on the box of Asher Ax55, but if I see different ads on internet there is no VPN written on boxes. Why I have this written on box? Is this new packaging or old packaging or something else.

Secondly I have seen on forums that this version doesn't support L2TP as pro version supports. So the non Pro version still worth it? Or I should replace it.

Hi, thanks for posting question on our community.

Most TP-Link Archer Router supports OpenVPN/PPTP/L2TP over IPsec. You may refer to the below pages to find all router models that support VPN Server/Client:

    VPN Server: https://www.tp-link.com/home-networking/wifi-router/?filterby=AND%7C6111

    VPN Client: https://www.tp-link.com/home-networking/wifi-router/?filterby=AND%7C6112

Additionally, some TP-Link router models also offer WireGuard VPN support. You can find more information about these specific models in the following the community thread.

Note: TP-Link Archer Router only supports VPN Server/Client based on IPv4, not IPv6.
