I have 3 powerline devices (AV1300). They have been working with stability for months. Recently for some reason they became dis-attached/dis-paired in terms of their network (the remote powerline adaptors were not connecting to the powerline adaptor connected to the router.

I re-paired the adaptor in the family room (used by the TV and HTPC) by following standard instructions of hitting the pairing buttons on each and they connected).

The other adaptor is in my son's room upstairs. We tried to re-pair it from there – no go. We moved that powerline adaptor to the same room as the router connected one. Still no go. When hitting pairing buttons on each, they keep blinking and never connect.

What else to do I try to get it paired again?

  @alect

Try the following.

- Bring the Powerline adapter from your son's room to where the router is and plug it next to the other Powerline adapter that is connected to the router.

- Also power cycle the Powerline adapter that is connected to the router. (i.e. unplug it, wait a few seconds and then plug it back in)

- Reset both Powerline adapters to factory default settings. (as per user manual: "Press and hold the Pair button for more than 15 seconds to reset the powerline adapter to factory defaults.")

- Now try to pair the two Powerline adapters as usual

If the Power LED still keeps blinking indefinitely, then one Powerline adapter must be defective. You could check whether the product is still under warranty.
