Hi

Just replaced Win 10 native WiFi adapter with Ac12000 in Win 11 desktop. Windows recognised it and said correct drivers already installed. It sees both 2.4Gh and 5Ghz networks, so I initially connected to latter. Unfortunately, speed was very slow-around 2mbps. Tried 2.4 network but it just said unable to connect. Now it won't connect to the 5Ghz either,

This was originally a Win 10 desktop, which now has Win 11 installed. Don't suppose that could be the problem. Definitely something wrong as the native WiFi adapter was better than this. (That was only 2.4Ghz compatible)

Any wisdom would be much appreciated.

  @Eurosceptic

Hi, welcome to the community.

May I know the model number of your AC1200 adapter? Is it Archer T4E / T5E?

Have you tested whether the adapter is able to connect to other wireless networks, such as the mobile hotspot?

Thank you very much and best regards.
