Hi, thanks for posting question here.

If there is no internet on DSL modem router mode:
1. Make sure the DSL/phone cable is plugged into the DSL socket on the modem.
2. Check whether there is a valid internet IP address under Advanced > Status. 
    (1) If the IP address is 0.0.0.0, check with the internet service provider whether you have got the correct username and password.
    (2) If the IP address is not 0.0.0.0, go to Advanced > Network > internet > internet connections > Modify and change the DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4.

I brought another modem and tested it and it worked and the problem is not with the phone line

I made all the settings of the modem, but it still did not connect to the Internet

Unfortunately, the modem is broken, I bought a tp link modem for the first time and I will not buy anything from this company for the rest of my life, I bought a new modem, but it didn't work even for a second

Hi, Sorry to hear that. You may contact the retailer to confirm warranty or return the modem router if you do not need it anymore.

  @keyvansole I know exactly how you feel. Had mine 2 days and not had 1 minute benefit out of it & honestly I don't think I ever will. The internet green light has never once come on . The hoops they make you jump through to activate the router is ridiculous & at the end of all the agro........Sweet nothing.

  @Abaxa7 What I also noticed is the TP router knocks out my landline - no phone connection when the TP-R is plugged in . Incredible that my ancient router does not affect my landline, but a brand new TP router renders my landline as useless as the router.
