Model: Deco M4
Hardware Version: V20
Firmware Version: 1.6.2 Build 20240308 Rel. 55841

Hello, I tend to get frequent power outages where I live, and when my Deco wirless access point power cycles it uses the wrong lan port to try and obtain an internet connection, I know thisbecause when I unplug the second wan port it works and the light turns from red to white and stays white once I plug the second lan port back in, is there anyway to make it deafult to the primary (no 1) lan port for an internet connection. many thanks

  @RB02

Hi, Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Can I have a picture of your network layout?

Except the ISP modem, what is the other device that connected to the second Ethernet port of Deco M4?

So far, it is still not supported to fix the WAN port but you could try to connect the network device on the 2nd Deco to one of the satellite M4.

Wait for your reply and best regards.

@RB02: How did you find out that the Deco M4 uses the wrong LAN port to obtain an internet connection? I would love to check my Deco M4 if this occurs to me too. Because I am experiencing the same issue. My wifi network doesn't come back normally after a power outage. In my case the 2nd port is connected to a Sonos Speaker. (trust me, I have my reasons)
