Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.7.6 Build 20240305 Rel. 38320

After updating to this version of the firmware i have lost all hardwired network attached devices.

I can still connect to the internet via the network port on the main Deco, but neither the main or satellite Deco's detect any devices attached via the ethernet ports. All previously ethernet connected devices now show as 'Offline Clients'

Hi,

Will wired devices be shown as offline devices? Are they all computers?

Please try the following steps:

1. Try refresh the Deco APP. If it is not the latest APP version, uninstall and reinstall the Deco APP.

2. Unplug the device from Deco and then connect back.

3. Confirm if the device has a static IP, if yes, change to automatically obtain an IP.

  @Sunshine hi

Decoapp is the latest. Also nothing shows up via the web interface.

i have tried unplugging and re connecting Ethernet devices from both the main and satellite Decos with no effect.

all 3 devices did have static IPs but I have tried turning that off (and any other filtering settings eg parental control, static routing). Devices are two CCTV cameras and one computer.

i have also no tried downgrading the firmware via the web interface back to 1.7.4 but that did nothing helpful so have gone back to latest release.

thanks for trying to hlp

Hi,

Could you please provide your network topology? How do you connect your devices, and is there a switch in between?

If you have a switch, please also provide the model number of it.

Please try to unplug the Ethernet cable between satellite Deco and main Deco, let it connect to the main Deco wirelessly and check if the issue still exists. And then you can plug back the cable.

And also please provide an APP log: How to submit Deco APP log
