Hi,

The TP-Link RE550 supports OneMesh and, after a firmware update, also "EasyMesh".

How to make a router of a different brand compatible with those Mesh standards is likely not something that you will get an answer for in a TP-Link forum.

You might want to ask Rogers themselves if their Ignite router already supports "EasyMesh" or whether there is a firmware update that adds support for EasyMesh.

Hi

Different brand products cannot form a OneMesh network.  Therefore, Roger router cannot form OneMesh with RE550.

For more information about OneMesh, please refer to:

https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/2690/

However, Easymesh can be formed with routers and extenders from different manufacturers, and RE550 supports Easymesh. It is recommended that you confirm whether your Roger router supports Easymesh.
