Deco BE85 super unstable
I have 1 Deco BE65 (upstairs) and 2 Deco BE85 downstairs (large house). My internet regularly stops working and I've to go to Network optimization to fix wifi bands. IOT (mostly Goodle nest devices) constanty disconnect or take a minute to respond to voice commands or they just say network not available.
My return window has closed so I can't send them back but thinking of selling them, even with a loss as it's the biggest piece of garbage I ever bought. Really people do not buy any of Deco BE85 or Deco BE65, total waste of money!

if you'd like to spend a little more time, I would love to forward your case to the engineers to see whether they have any other suggestions.
In the meantime, could you please help me check the following details:
1. Are the Deco units wirelessly connected to each other?
2. For the unstable mobile devices, are they mainly 2.4GHz supported IOT devices?
3. Did it help if we temporarily disable the "Beamforming" and "fast roaming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced?

First, provide a diagram of the installation and connection of access points in your home.

In general, buying a couple of simple points in terms of positioning and setting up in a multi-story building, connecting them via WiFi and hoping that everything will work stably is a rather naive opinion.

Well, in such cases, they don't use simple access points, but more professional ones, for example, the omada solution from tp link
The points are located either on the wall/or on the ceiling, which are powered through a poe switch.
at each point, the width and number of the wifi channel are recorded in different ranges depending on the settings of other points and the presence of noise from neighboring access points.
This is a smart and stable solution.
