Hi,

I have an Apple TV 4K and I used to use the Lithe Audio WiFi speakers i have in teh ceiling for the sound. This was connected via the audio menu on the Apple TV 4K. I say used to as I have upgraded my mesh network to the Deco B85 from a Linksys Velop system. Everything worked perfectly with the Linksys system but when I try to connect the audio now, I can see the speakers and even the Home pods in tech Apple TV menu, but it plays for a little while and then they drop. The devices are seen by the Apple TV but no sound. I have rebooted the router numerous time as well as the Apple TV. Even the speakers have been reset.  Nothing seems to work, they just drop the audio. What is strange is the Lithe Audio Micro Subwoofer which is also connected via WiFi, is not affected. It continues on as normal.

I expected the Deco system to be superior in every way to the Lynksys, but they cannot stream an audio packet consistently. Does anyone have any ideas? They are causing more issues than they solve at the moment.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Could you please help me run a simple test:

Please temporarily power off the satellite Deco be85 and other models if there are any. Leave the main Deco BE85 only, then check again whether the Ceiling speakers and Micro Subwoofer can constantly stream the audio.

By the way, are all the  Lithe Audio WiFi Speakers connected to the 2.4GHz IOT network?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

  @David-TP

Hi David, thanks for replying back to me. I had reset the Apple home pod mini as well and it still does it. All of the speakers are on the main network which has both 2.4 & 5Ghz bands. You think by moving them over to solely 2.4 on the IOT network will make a difference?  I will give it a go.

Thanks for your help so far.

Kindets regards

Clem

  @Clemster972

Hi, Thanks for the update. I think the IOT network is worth a try.

In the meantime, It is also suggested to disable "Mesh Technology" on the Deco APP for Lithe Audio WiFi ceiling speakers and turn off "fast roaming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

If none of the suggestion helps, I don't have any further recommendations and I'm afraid your case needs to be forwarded to the senior engineers for more advice.

Thank you very much and best regards.
