Model: Tapo L530E
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 240130 Rel.173828

I just installed this light. It doesn't show all colours. White is showing as yellow, and brightness does not work. It's brighter in the middle. I tried factory reset and different place but still the same. Btw, I thought I would reload the firmware after factory reset but it doesn't.

This looks like a hardware problem. You may contact the retailer or local TP-Link support to proceed with the warranty.

Can you share some pictures or maybe a video to explain what's the situation withL your light bulb?

Check this instruction to ensure the light bulb has been reset correctly. How to reset the Tapo smart bulb

@Wayne-TP I have followed the directions. Does the factory reset also over-write the firmware? Is there a way to force a firmware upgrade?

The issue is quite simple: the bulb only turns yellow. On White selection, when I use the slider to chose the warmth it has not effect, it only stays at the yellow looking colour.

When I select other colours:

Orange: shows yellow

Blue: turns off

Red: very low intensity yellow, turns off when I reduce the brightness

Green: off

Purple: same behaviour with red

Yellow: off

Pink: off

Thanks

Michael
