Hi, I have set up my extender and have two options
Shell CB6F21_5GEX
Shell CB6F21_EXT
Each asks for the password but will not accept it?

Hi
How did you configure the extender? It is recommended that you configure the extender in another way.
1.There is a small reset hole on the extender. Please use a pin to press the reset hole for 1 second to reset the extender.
2.After resetting the extender, you could refer to the following link to reconfigure, please note that the extender should be placed next to the router during configuration:
Web UI: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1400/
APP: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1373/

The extended network password should be the same as the host network (your router wireless) password.
