Firmware Version: 1.0.4 build 20231225 rel. 54181

Hey

I have bought three Deco X50 to get a proper wireless connection through over house.
But I have a problem when I try to connect Philips Hue to the system.

I have tried a lot of different things, and now i need your help.
- I have tried to reset the Hue bridge to factory settings.

- I have tried to connect the Hue bridge to the main (teknikskab) and second Deco X50 (1. sal) and I have tried to connect it to the switch.

I have tried to reset the fiberbox, the Deco and the philips hue at the same time and separately.

I have tried to setup the Philips Hue in the deco smart home.

I have tried to show you the setting, the number indicates the way i have cable it.

I really hope somebody in here can help me how to set it up?

Do any of you in here have any suggestions what to do?

Hi, Welcome to the community.

Is your current topology like this:

I noticed there is only power LED on the Hue Bridge and it didn't seem detecting the Ethernet cable connection from the switch.

Have you tried to replace a new cable and connect Philips Hue to another Ethernet port from the switch?

Thank you very much and best regards.

Hey David.
Thanks for your reply.
Yes I have tried to change the cable.
I can get the second light to turn if I unplug the netcable and plug it in again.
I think the picture was taken in a moment when it was not connected?

  @Kijak

Hi, Thanks for the update.

When you said "Deco X50 and Philips Hue - no connection to the bridge", I thought you meant the 2nd and 3rd lights on the Hue bridge didn't turn on.

Since now the 2nd light is indeed solid on,so is the 3rd one not on?

--- If it is the 3rd light, I think you could refer to https://www.philips-hue.com/en-us/support/article/why-isnt-the-third-light-on-my-bridge-on/000005

Or what else you might refer to as "no connection to the bridge"? unable to add it to "Smart Home" on the Deco APP?

Wait for your reply and best regards.

Heii again.

Now I have tried to follow the guideline that you referred to.

As you can see I have to lights in the Hue bridge, and I can see it in the overview.

But when I try to see the IP adress it is not visible..

Any suggestions?

Best regards Mads

  @Kijak

Hi, Thanks for the update.

In case there are some issues with the APP, it is also suggested to log into the web UI to see whether it could display the IP address of the Hue Bridge:

How to log into the web-based interface of my Deco

If the IP is blank as well on the web UI, Please go to Deco APP>More>Deco lab>WiFi Assistant>Scan for devices to see whether there is an IP address that matches the MAC address of the Hue Bridge.

Wait for your reply and best regards.
