Model: RE505X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.13 Build 20230927 Rel.181123

I have an AX5400 (AX73) router.

And I have a RE505X repeater.

Because the distance between my router and repeater is too far, the connection cannot be stable.

So my problem is that if I used a cable at the ethernet port 1 input, and this cable I ran inside the wall, and then the output I plugged into the repeater's ethernet port, would it be a OneMesh ?

Or just OneMesh is wifi only for repeater ?
And if possible, please give me instructions on how to do this.

Thank you.

When tte RE505X is connected to your main router with an ethernet cable it shoild be configured in AP mode - use this guide.

In AP mode RE505X can't be used in mesh network with your main router.
