Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.2.4 build 20231206 rel. 32618

I have 3 X20 devices that have been working brilliantly for 2 years. However, whilst the root device is working the the devices connected via WiFi and via fixed ethernet are showing as offline This has just started happen. . Rebooting hasnt fixed this issue.

 

Devices that are connected to the offline devices still have access to the Internet and the devices are showing in the devices list for the root device even though they are connected via the offline X20s

 

The X20 device that is working is connected to a Vodafone rooter. The Ip address on this device is 192.168.68.1 however for some reason the ip address on the other devices is outside the set range ie 192.168.71.248, 192.168..71.249 and ping doesn't work.. 

 

I see that many people have seen this problem before but am I'm yet to see a solution.

Hi, welcome to the community.

I think the IP range issue is due to the current subnet 255.255.252.0, which you could find under Deco APP>More>Advanced>LAN IP.

192.168.68.xxx-192.168.71.xxx are still under the same IP range. Usually the 71. xxx will be assigned to satellite Mesh units first to avoid IP conflicts.

 

As for the offline status of the satellite Deco X20s, did you update the Deco APP recently? or was there any network adjustment, like a firmware upgrade?

I've just submitted the log as requested. You are right about the IP address range, so that is ok. Also no network config changes in that I haven't applied any firmware updates recently. The only network change was about 8 weeks ago when I changed broadband suppliers, but I haven't had any issues until now.
