Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Firmware Version: 1.1.22 Build 20240311 Rel. 73956(4555)

Hello everybody,

I am experiencing the following problem:

Every two or every one hour, the online duration time is resetting I have looked at the logs and I saw that the router is asking for confirmation of the IP address. You can see it below. I am wondering is it a firmware problem, because I talked with the ISP and they said that everything is okay on their side. The topology is Modem with fiber optic and with Ethernet cable I connect the router.

Can you share please your thoughts on the problem.

BR,

Re:Archer AX17 reset the online duration time, every 1 or 2 hour-Solution

@TiestoSataza  Can I know who is your ISP?

@FlaCky I hope you can tell us who is your ISP as well. We would like to know whether this behavior is caused by some specific ISPs.

Based on the logs FlaCky provided, it appears the lease time set by your ISP for the DHCP is 2 hours. If your device attempts to request a new IP address before the lease time expires, the ISP server may reject the request and not respond.

Typically, the ISP will only respond once the existing lease time has expired. This DHCP lease time configuration by the ISP could be the reason you're experiencing connectivity issues. We recommend that you contact your ISP to confirm if this is indeed the case. If the DHCP lease time settings by the ISP are causing problems with your network connectivity, we suggest you work with them to see if there are any solutions or adjustments they can make.

This issue does not appear to be related to or caused by our device. It's more likely an ISP-side configuration that is impacting your network connection.

Please let us know if you have any further questions. We're happy to provide additional assistance, but the resolution to this particular problem will likely require coordination with your Internet service provider.

Dear @Kevin_Z, My ISP is Bulsatcom, I think they have been bought by Vivacom in the last few months. Please check once again, so I can contact them afterwards. BR,
