Just  bought a RE700X to extend my network around the house using easymesh with my AX55.

Main purpose was to help my C200 camera work better. 

On my AX55 I enabled the IoT Network, with just the 2.4GHz option turned on,  and gave it an SSID of CAMNET

I have the C200 camera connected to CAMNET.. but the signal strength isn't great...

I was hoping the extender would boost the strength of the IoT network.. but it doesn't appear to have done so.

Looks like it only propagates the main network SSID on the easymesh.

Am I right? Is it the case that the RE700X does not carry the IoT network SSID on the easymesh?

If so , I'm wondering about an alternative to using the IoT network...

If I split the 5Ghz  and the 2.4Ghz (ie: turn off SmartConnect)... give the 2.4Ghz the SSID of CAMNET and turn off the IoT network.

Would the RE700X then propagate THAT 2.4GHz network??
