Idea for a new product
Hello! I would like to suggest a self-contained tilt switch . . . One that, when tilted and a contact is closed, sends by wi-fi an "on command" to a (for example) tp-link wi-fi plug.
I would use this tilt switch on my 2 garage doors. The units would be installed on the garage doors so that when the garage door is open, the contact is closed and a light is lit at a wi-fi plug. Closing the garage door would open the switch, and send an off command to the wi-fi plug.
I know there are other more involved products that are advertised as doing this, but they simply do not work consistently.
