Connected to Unknown
Dear DECO,
I have got 6x M4 units meshed in AP mode.
My DECO app and the internet are both working fine. Except I got a few devices showing that it is connected to unknown. See attached pictures. Is there any way to over come this? I have rebooted my DECO devices and the same issue occurs. It is annoying that I cannot see which unit that it is connected to.

Hi, Did turning off "Mesh Technology" here help?
Is the camera the only device that had this issue?

@David-TP I turned off the mesh technology and it didn't help. I also have other devices showing the same things, such as my Samsung sound bar and printer. My other camera from TP-LINK seemed to work fine. See attached pictures.

Hi, Did the mobile device work well when they displayed "connected to unknown Deco"?
It is also suggested to disable "Fast Roaming" and "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced to see whether it helped.
By the way, there is also a beta firmware- version 1.7.0 for Deco M4_v2 is open for testing.

@David-TP all my devices work well. The only thing is that ai cannot see which DECO unit is connected to. I will give it a try with the new firmware.

I have the same issue. Found out that devices connected to "Uknown" are connected to IoT network I enabled recently.
All devices connected to the main network don't have this issue.

@Perda I suggest to reboot the TP or let your device assign to other TPs first. It worked for me after I installed the beta firmware.
