Best configuration Archer C80 and Mercusys Halo H1900G ???

Currently it is working like this: All Halos as access point. Archer C80 router lan port to Halo 1 port by utp cable. This is the main Halo. Archer C80 router lan port to TP Link TI-SG1005D switch by utp cable, and from a port of the switch to a port of the Halo 2 by utp cable. This is the wired Halo. Halo 3 by wifi. Everything is working fine, Halo 2 appears in the application as wired and 3 as wifi. Now, from the structural or standardized point of view, is it correct as it is or should Halo 2 be connected by utp cable from a lan port of the Archer C80 and then the TP Link TI-SG1005D switch be connected from a port of the Halo 2 by utp cable?

Hi, welcome to the community.

Is your network topology like:

Archer C80 doesn't support MERCUSYS App. So on the Network APP, the satellite Halo will only be displayed as "connected to the main Halo 1".

Thank you very much and best regards.

Thanks for the reply. I have exactly that topology and it works. The application where I see the Halos is the Mercusys one. The question is whether the TL-SG1005D switch should be before Halo 2 or after Halo 2 or is it indistinct?

Hi, Thanks for your time and patience.

I don't think it will make any difference, whether before or after Halo 2.

Best regards.
