Model: Deco X95
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

So i have at home a X95 as main deco and two X5700 to extend my wifi via Wireless. Yet i had a place in my house with poor reception but with little need for a huge speed and performance so i ordered a X50 to complement my wifi setup.

Everything works great but the OMFDA and MU-MIMO option have desapered from my Deco App. Before buying the X50 i have cheked that they support everything that those other routers except not been triband.

Do i have lost suport at my house for those technologies or now they are on and can't be turned off?

Thanks in advance for the responses.

Hi

OMFDA and MU-MIMO of Deco X50 are enabled by default, so this option will not be displayed in the APP.
Please note that OMFDA and MU-MIMO options are available only when all Deco units in the network have.

  @Joseph-TP

that was the part that became confusing... I had an M9 Plus on that network and the options didn't appear, because the M9 don't support it.

as I removed the M9, leaving only the X95 and X5700 they have appeared... and adding the X50 they were gone again. That is when the doubt came.

Thanks for your support

one suggestion... on the app a page, when mix and matching different models of deco, showing the capabilities that are available or disabled because of different models. Great way to promote an upsell so all capabilities are available. Ex. TV capabilities page on XBOX. We all want all green checks!  ✅

Hi

We certainly appreciate all your feedback and feature request here.

While we don't have any specific details that I can share around if this feature can come to all the home routers, or when it might, I'll make sure to log this feature request and pass it along to the team.

I'm moving this conversation into the ‘Feature Request (Deco APP)' area and tagging it as a ‘Future Consideration’ for better visibility.

Feel free to let us know of any other feature requests you may have, we’d be happy to send them up for you.
