Problem on ER605 with VLAN and network 10.x.x.x/24
Friends of the forum, I'm sharing this problem so that it reaches TPLINK and has a possible firmware correction.
When we buy the ER605 it comes with the default network 192.168.0.1/24. Depending on the scenario, sometimes we have to change this default IP. I made a network with 4 VLANS, Omada and EAPS225. I changed the default IP to 10.1.1.1/24 and made more VLANS 172.16.0.1/24, 192.168.1.1/24 and 192.168.4.1/24.
After that, the EAPs225 were experiencing packet loss to the point where the internet did not work (more than 50%).
I made all kinds of configurations via omada, including infrastructure testing, but everything was OK.
I even thought that the problem was in the EAP225, but there were 8 EAPS, so, based on my trust in TPLINK, I ruled out this possibility.
Coincidentally I had a problem at home due to changing the default IP to 10.x.x.x/24. So, I reset all the network settings and made 4 VLANS, keeping the router's default IP (192.168.0.1/24) to my surprise or not, the Wi-Fi started working normally again, zero packet loss.
I came to the conclusion that when changing the default IP of the ER605 to range 10.1.1.1/24 it simply goes crazy with the VLANS linked to the Access Points (EAP225). I want to record this problem here and hope for a future solution from TP-LINK.
