Model: Deco XE75 Pro
Hardware Version: V20
Firmware Version: 1.2.10 Build 202403225 Rel 57182

I have Google Fiber 2GBps coming in on my Fiber Jack and out of the Google Router (bridge mode) which then connects to my Deco XE75 Pro's 2.5 GBps port.  I also have 2 additional XE75 decos in my office and my son's bedroom on the second floor of my home.  When I first connected this setup I was amazed that I was actually getting 800-900 MBps upload and download throughout my house on Wifi.  This was exactly what I needed. This was consistent for awhile and then I got an alert in the Deco app saying there was a new firmware upgrade for the XE75 Decos and the XE75 Pro deco.

After I installed the firmware upgrades I noticed my speeds dropped to 300-400 MBps download and 450-520 MBps upload speeds.  At first I thought this was caused by my fiber jack  but I had Google techs come to my house and they showed me how 2.2 GBPs was coming from the fiber jack and also from the google router.  They also connected to the Gigabit output on the Deco XE75 Pro and showed me it was outputting about 600 MBps.  So the Deco appears to be the cause of the issue.

Could someone please confirm if there is something wrong with the latest firmware upgrade and when can we expect a fix for this issue?

  @Rob_K_M

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. Please replace a new Ethernet cable to connect the main Deco XE75 PRO to the Google router.

2. Restart the whole Deco Mesh system once.

3. enable QOS and set 2000 Mbps download/upload.

Personally, I don't think 1.2.10 would cause the current issue but 1.2.10 could revert to 1.2.9 directly via the web interface if needed:

(the firmware downgrade process is the same as the firmware upgrade.)

Wait for your reply and best regards.
