Like other users, I have a problem that the TP Link Archer AX6000 tries to renew its DHCP lease every 30 seconds. It is set to access point mode. The DHCP server is running OpenWRT 23.05.04. 


2024-08-05 18:03:07 DHCPC INFO [9015] receive ack from server with ip 10.0.4.39, options(serverid=10.0.0.1;lease=14400;subnet=255.255.224.0;router=10.0.0.1;dns=10.0.0.1 10.0.0.1;)
2024-08-05 18:03:07 DHCPC INFO [9015] send select request with options(cliid=01/cc:32:e5:86:a6:b0:;)
2024-08-05 18:03:07 DHCPC INFO [9015] 1/2 lease passed, enter renewing state

I know the AX6000 is old, but it's new to me. I just set it up, and it was an upgrade from my Deco P9.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

May I confirm OpenWRT 23.05.04 is installed by yourself?

It is suggested to remove the third-software from the router and confirm again.

Sorry, I was unclear. I did not make any unusual modifications to the TP-Link device. The TP-Link Archer AX6000 (access point/DHCP client) is running the latest vendor firmware, while OpenWRT is running on a Belkin RT3200 (router/DHCP server).
