Model: Tapo T315
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.8.0 Build 230921 Rel.091446

Tapo T315 currently offers two operation modes:

  • Balanced: update data when the temperature/humidity change is greater than 0.5°C/6%.
  • High sensitivity: update data when the temperature/humidity change is greater than 0.3°C/3%.

It would be great to have a "ultra high sensitivity" mode that would update data when the temperature/humidity changes is greater than or equal to, let's say, 0.1°C/1%. Surely this would consume more battery, but some users like me would probably benefit from this feature.

I currenty have a few T315s paired with P110s for controlling dehumidifiers in my apartment, and the 3% change in humidity usually causes the dehumidifiers to run longer than needed. So a "ultra high sensitivity" mode would probably be a good fit in this scenarios.

@cmolin I aggre. And the humidity displays tenth of % but it only changes by 1 %. I would be nice to have 0,1 % or atlest 0,5 % humidity resolution.

I just tried to calibrate the sensors and temperature is spot on, but the humidity is out of the specification of ± 2 % RH at 60 %RH as specified in the renge from 20 % - 80 % RH, it was 2,8 % RH. Is there an option to make adjustment?
