The wifi IS disconnected each time I switch off my smart LG TV.

I have to type each time the wifi password.

You can try connecting the router's WiFi or your smartphone's hotspot WiFi to the TV to see if the same issue occurs. If it does, you may want to reach out to the TV's support team for assistance.
