OneMesh with RE605X
OneMesh with RE605X

Hi ,
I received my new WiFi7 router from my ISP (TP Link EB810v) last night, and since I still keep my RE605X extender in my bedroom, I am thinking of linking them via OneMesh.
However, according to the Tether app, it mentions that the "current main router does not support OneMesh".
Am I missing any critical steps (e.g. updating FW for both extender and router)?
Appreciate any help/guidance.
Regards,

Dear @Marvin_S, I am dealing with the same problem as Stefano and other users.
I have bought wifi extender RE605X to my vdsl router VX1800v and wanted to establish EasyMesh wifi, but I found out, that my extender has a hardware revision RE605X v2 that only support OneMesh.
Will you be so kind and send me the firmware that supports EasyMesh for my RE605X? Official fw hasn't been released yet.
Thank you!
Regards Jack

Hello@malasj ,
Welcome to our community.
May I know the firmware of the RE605X_V2? Please refer to How to find the hardware and firmware version of my TP-Link device
If it is lower than 1.0.6, please try to update to the latest version. Or you can install the firmware here: RE605X(EU)_V2_1.0.6 Build 20240819.
Manually install the firmware, please refer to How to upgrade the firmware of my range extender (new logo).
Best Regards.
