Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.0 Build 20231229 Rel. 43148

I have a WD MyCloud which has a wired connection to one of my slave Deco X50 units.  I use this as a media server for streaming video to my TV.  I have a problem in that around the same time every day, while streaming video, the device seems to lose connection, the picture freezes, and I see the hourglass spinning circle superimposed on the TV screen.  This lasts for around 30 seconds, then streaming resumes.  I use address reservation for this device, and the IPv4 Network Mode on the device itself is set to "Static"  rather than "DHCP", so I'm stumped as to what is causing this to occur.  I had wondered if it might be connected to DHCP lease time, but there are no settings for this on the Deco itself, and in any case, I'm using address reservation.  It may be nothing to do with the Deco system, but if anyone has any constructive suggestions to offer, they woiuld be most welcome.  Thanks.

  @RCC49

Welcome to the community.

 I think it would be better to set the IPV4 connection type back to "Dynamic IP/DHCP" instead of "Static IP".

Is the TV wirelessly connected to the same satellite Deco X50?

(It would be great if the TV could be wired into one of the Deco X50s)

It is suggested to disable "Fast Roaming" and "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

Please also turn off "Mesh Technology" for the wireless TV:

Thank you very much and best regards.
