dhcp option 61 FOR THE IDENT?
TP-LINK AC2100/ARCHER VR2100, confirm this modem/router can connect to SKY(MER)DSL IN ORDER TO SUCCESSFULLY CONNECT USING dhcp option 61 FOR THE IDENT?

Even though Archer VR2100( only under DSL modem router mode) support MER, SKY has made it clear that they don’t support third-party modem, so there may be compatible problem with them.
SKY applies option 61 to complete internet authentication:
In Quick Setup, select SKY (MER)_VDSL from the ISP list, click Next then enter username and password.
About how to get the username and password, please refer to this link: https://www.georgebuckingham.com/sky-fibre-router-vdsl-password/ if ISP won't provide it for you.

@Marvin_S what about other ISPs from other countries which use dhcp option 61.
Can we somehow manually enter the client id from the web interface?

Hi, did your ISP told that DHCP option 61 is necessary for the internet configuration? Sorry that we are not sure whether it is compatible with your ISP.
We do not know the link where you may get the username and password provided by your ISP. Before configuration, it is more suggested to confirm with your ISP.
