Does smart plug have to be "on" for schedule mode to work?
Hi. I have set up schedules for each of my smart plugs. Does the plug have to "on" for schedule to function?
For example: Device is scheduled to turn on at 8pm and turn off at 11pm but, at 10pm, I use the app to turn the device off. Will the schedule resume as normal the next day -- that is, will the device turn on at 8p;m the next day? Thanks!

The smart plug itself should be powered on all the time to achieve smart control. The smart plug itself normally remains on unless you unplug it from the outlet or there is a power outage.
When turning on/off with Kasa App or plug's power button, it controls the power output of the smart plug, in other words, the power of the appliance. Schedule or other software features continue to function regardless of the status of the smart plug output.

Are you saying that:
- If a light is switched on using the H103's button at 5pm when the unit is programmed to turn on at say 7pm and off at 10pm, the light will automatically be switched off at 10pm, and
- If a light programmed to come on at 7pm and off at 10pm is switched off using the button at 9pm it will automatically come on at 7pm the next day.
Presumably the same would happen if the "out of schedule" actions were performed over the Internet and/or WiFi.
