Anyone having issues with Tapo cameras staying connected via wifi to Omada EAPs?
I have Tp-Link Tapo C210 cameras that when connected to 2.4ghz wifi served by Tp-Link Omada EAP670 v1 or EAP670 v2, will randomly lose connection and refuse to reconnect back to the WiFi. The cameras do not lose connection at the same time even if they are connected to the same EAP. This happens anywhere after a few hours to days of the cameras successfully staying connected to the wifi. I don't know the trigger and have been unable to replicate this behavior. A reboot of the EAP solves the problems but is not a good solution.
Early on, I thought only one of the C210s was faulty so I had it replaced, however the replacement and all the other Tapo cameras have run into the same issues.
As mentioned above, even the newer v2 hardware of the EAP670 has issues with these cameras.
Signal strength is good (RSSI of 30+ to less than 60), and the cameras are locked to the nearest EAP in the Omada controller.
I tried APs or routers in AP mode from different brands to serve WiFi to the cameras and there are no issues whatsoever.
Any one else have these issues?
