Hi, I've owned an AX73 for a couple of years and we've had a very busy internet connection lately. I am currently looking at Ubiquiti products as they have the ability to do more monitoring of network traffic. However, since I don't want to unnecessarily change a functional and very reliable product, I want to know if there is any way to get data from this wifi router about the current traffic (in theory, information about how much is currently flowing over the WAN would be enough). Something like SNMP, or some other form of API to monitor the traffic on the WAN interface and store the data continuously (e.g. with an external tool like Munin, Cacti, ...). Thank you.

There's no SNMP or other form of API through which you can monitor your WAN interface, except its WebGUI. Business grade routers have an SNMP implemented - details.
