Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.3 Build 20240528 rel.85215(5553)

I bought a Sfp+ Fix to 2.5Gpbs XPON fibre stick plugged in and nothing response , the router cant detect dynamic IP , and unable to make PPPoe protocal , after that i try to remove the stick and the stick is extreme hot around 60-70C . some one told me GE800 only detect 1Gbps and 10Gbps stick only , thats very wierd ! 

so this is need a custom firmware to fix or how ?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

May I confirm the model of your 2.5Gpbs XPON fibre stick?

As I know, there is similar feedback on our community and you may refer to this thread and contact your ISP for any possible suggestions. And who is your ISP?

 

We have confirmed the 10Gbps SFP+ port can recognize and connect to 2.5Gpbs XPON fibre stick, for example, HUAWEI MA5671A , Nokia G-010SA and ODI DFP-34X-2C2

Did you ever try to unplug and replug for several times?

@Marvin_S my stick model is DFP-34X-2C2 

i did tried severally times but its still not working 

 

my ISP is TIME 

i manually set to 2.5Gbps and its still cant 

i asked at another forum , they facing the same issue with 2.5Gbps XPon Stick at GE800 . i think the issue is GE800 dont support to read HSGMII like BE800 , but BE800 are fixed this issue
