Hi,

I have Re305v4 that was able to work in One mesh protocol however I updated it to latest available fw that now supports easy mesh.

My question is if this range extender is still able to communicate to older routers that supports only one mesh? Or now it can work only in easy mesh mode?

Hi,

 

Yes, the RE305 V4 still supports OneMesh, even after you have updated it to the firmware version that adds support for EasyMesh. Note that the word "OneMesh" is not shown in the settings anymore, but it still works.
