Hi Everyone,

 

I just purchased a Ring doorbell. It connected to the mesh without a problem. I'm just wondering if anyone has successfully setup the build in Alexa speaker as the chime for the doorbell? Thanks.

Welcome to the community.

I saw there was feedback about setting Deco Voice X20 as the chime of the Blink video doorbell which also has built-in Alexa capabilities. It didn't turn out well.

There hasn't been a new firmware release since 1.0.6 Build 20231228 so I think it might not work as the chime for Ring Doorbell either.

But you could still try to make the configuration on the Ring Doorbell. Maybe it is different from the Blink Doorbell.

It would be highly appreciated if you could let us know what happened.
