Model: Tapo S220
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.9.0 Build 231106 Rel.164353

I have a Hub H100 that links my S220 light switch.  One of the switches is on a schedule and the other is not.

For some reason, the one on the schedule stopped working - fix was to reboot the hub - all good.

Now neither switch works.  If I use the app to turn on or off either light, the switch just clicks and no lights come on. I cannot even manually use the switch to turn the lights on or off.

I've had no low battery warnings and the light on the hub is blue.  The app also allows me to check the firmware so they have access to the internet

Any ideas?  Had these for 10 months and have been wokring fine up until this week

Thanks

  @Lance70

When you manually press switch, does the LED on the side of switch light up, say three times?

Could you please confirm whether your switch is actually wired to a specific light in the circuit? Some users may choose not to wire the switch to a light but instead control their desired devices through automation. I’d like to understand if your situation might be similar to this.

If your Tapo S220 switch is used in the standard way (wire to a specific light), please try performing a factory reset on the switch. After that, manually press the switch to see if it can turn the light on and off normally.
