Hello,

 

Recently bought Philips connected AirFryer, model HD9880 (7000 Series XXL). This is supposed to be able to connect to my home Wi-Fi network and control the cooking over phone app. I am using Deco E4R mesh system and I just cannot get the AirFryer to connect to the Wi-Fi.

 

I tried with old TPLink router (it was here when I started renting the appartment) and I connected seamesly, no issues, which probably means the issue is in the Deco settings. I tried everything but nothing is working. 

 

Anyone having same issues or any suggestions how I can fix this?

Can I have the model number of the old TP-Link router?

 

Here are some suggestions for your reference:

1. Please temporarily disable the 5GHz under the main Wi-Fi network.

2. Turn off "Fast roaming" and "Beamforming" under Deco APP>More>Advanced.

Sorry, my mistake. Seems like the old router is not TP-link, but D-link. Model is DIR-600.

 

My Deco is already on 2.4Ghz, that was the first thing I did as it's requirement from the appliance. 
Fast roaming is also already turned off. Beamforming I do not even find as an option in my Deco app.

Issue was fixed! I simply changed my router and switched to D-Link, everything worked like a charm, connecting from first time without need to adjust setting or anything on the router and internet connection. Still not sure what was the limitation from the TP-Link router though.
