Model: Tapo L900-10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 240625 Rel.205528

So today, when the LEDs were turned off, suddenly the lights turned red for no apparent reason. The problem is that the lights should be turned off but however they show up red and the only way to turned it off definitely is unplug the power cord off the lights. I have tried to turn off the router, to unplug all the wires and even reset the product to factory settings. Also, the app and the firmware is apparently updated, so I don´t know what else to try. Any solutions?

  • Change another controller if you have a spare one, for example, the one from a working light strip.
  • If the light strip is attached to a metal surface (like an iron frame), try removing it, if feasible.

If the problem remains, contact retailer or local TP-Link support to proceed with the warranty.
