Hello TP-Link Support Team,

I’m using the TP-Link AX1800 router and am encountering an issue with port forwarding. I need to forward ports 50000-50100 for passive FTP, but the router interface shows an error message stating "Invalid format" or "This range should be between 1 and 65535" when I attempt to input this port range.

Could you please advise if there are any restrictions on this range for the AX1800, or how I might be able to set up this port

  @YuriyB "I don’t know what version of the router or firmware you have, but in my case, as you can see in the picture, I don’t have the option for 'Port Range' like you do. There is no checkbox that you mentioned for enabling 'Port Range.' Do you understand?"

"In the future, I don't think I will buy TP-Link routers anymore because I see they disable various important features. Plus, their OpenVPN technology is outdated instead of implementing WireGuard VPN, which is much better."

Firmware Version :
1.3.8 Build 20230830 rel.19767(4555)

Hardware Version :
Archer AX20 v1.0

  @Tudorel

Try to fill only the external port field and leave the internal port field empty then save the settings:

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
