Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.5.5

I'm hoping someone can help me.  I have just upgraded my deco main unit to BE65,  with a 2nd unit plugged in by ethernet.  I am trying to add my older x50 units as extra units to help boost in some areas of the house but they are struggling to hold their connection.

I have moved them to several different locations,  reset them,  removed them and done over several times.

I van locate and set the units up perfectly fine,  they get solid green and then wothoj 10mins they go to solid red and reboot.  This happens constantly.

The main unit has no connection issues and the 2nd unit also doesn't lose any connection.

What am I doing wrong...or are these 2 models just not compatible,  do I just buy a third be65.

Thanks for your help.

  @Ejm55

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

They should work together.

"They get solid green and then within 10mins they go to solid red and reboot. "

- This issue also occurs to the 3 satellite Deco X50, right?

- Did you notice Deco X50 turn to red-yellow--red -green, during the auto-reboot process?

- After reboot, will it finally come back to solid green?

Did it make any difference if we temporarily connected the first Deco X50 via an Ethernet cable to the main Deco BE65?

Could you please try to access the web UI and help me save the system log:Deco web interface login

Wait for your reply and best regards.

@David-TP thanks for your response - i have answered your questions below...

Yes is only happening with the 3 x50 decos, the main unit and the be65 that is hardwired to it, has a stable connection and i have had no issues with them at all.

I tried connecting one of the deco's directly via ethernet to the main unit to see what it does, and it does the same pattern. yellow, flashing red, green, off, yellow. it doesn't stay on solid green for any longer than a couple of minutes.

i have removed all three decos from my network, hit their reset button, moved them around, tried doing one at a time, and it is the same pattern.

everytime after it reboots, it eventually ends up back on green before starting the cycle all over again.

I will try to access the interface and see if I can put any information in there.

Thanks for your help.
