Model: Archer T4U
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

My t4u v 3.20 is detected as a USB 2 device. I haven't installed any driver as ubuntu 24.10 automatically detected the adapter.

I have connected it to usb 3.1 ports on both my laptop and my PC. Lsusb output says it's a USB 2 device.

Hi,

Here is a link to a lengthy thread about the in-kernel driver rtw88 for the chip used in the Archer T4U V3 which also talks about the driver not switching to USB 3.0 mode.

https://github.com/morrownr/88x2bu-20210702/issues/197

Anyway, this Linux driver is not being maintained by TP-Link.
