  @Trobalabau

Good news (I hope!).. I have persivered with TP (and Google). TP seem to have got the message, I got sales and marketing involved and pointed out that if they fix this they will have an excellent product that can head to head with Tado. (Money talks)..

They've acknowledged the issue and said they are going to work with Google to get a solution...

I'll believe it when I see it, but they do seem to now understand. In particular the Mode setting always saying 'Heat'.. pointless without and alternative 'Off or idle'..

I'll keep you updated..

Apologies as I'm new to this.l just fitted two Kasa TRVs yesterday. I see the kasa hubs in the Tapo app but not the TRVs I can't find them in the list anywhere or am I missing something here? 😬

I'd love to see a simple working solution to this as i have another 12 TRVs to fit and a Google nest on order! 😬. I've not long moved into a house that has an EHP wireless thermostat. Reason behind all this is the gas bill is nearly twice as much as my combined utility bill in my last house. It's not so much the heat loss. I live in a Northern Ireland where gas is considerably more expansive than in England where I used to live. It's not as simple as just turning it off since I work from home.

Add the hub to the Kasa app, then TRVs.

Tapo app could be synced with Kasa in settings and all your devices should appear there as well.

I wouldn't recommend Nest or any other thermostat. You need to control the boiler directly, not manipulate thermostat's setting to turn the boiler on or off. You have a few heating zones with TRVs, it makes no sense to add another on top. A simple NO/COM switch is the way to go in most cases.
