Hi

I'm facing issues when adding new rules to port-forwarding/virtual server. The drop-down field "Interface Name" only gives me the option "No interface":

no interface

I can fill the other fields but the "Save" button stays always blocked - I assume because of the "No interface".

Any hints on how to fix this?

I've already tried restart, different browser, and firmware upgrade (currently on the latest version).

  @terziyski, I did have interfaces there and I had a fully working internet connection.

Anyway, I found another issue later: I couldn't connect to my employer's VPN. The fault was the DS-Lite connection from Vodafone. I then requested Dual-Stack (ipv4 and ipv6) from Vodafone and that fixed the connection issue with the VPN; I can also forward ports now - the problem is resolved.

I assume that means port forwarding doesn't work when the router is configured for a DS-Lite connection, as described in this article: https://www.tp-link.com/de/support/faq/2750/.

Would be nice if that article could be updated with a warning stating that port-forwarding will no longer work. Having it in the manual too wouldn't hurt.

  @Dr1T

If you don't have any Internet connection configured here:

you'll have onlly "No interface" option in this drop-down menu.

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".
