DECO XE75 AND VIRGIN HUB 5 MAJOR ISSUE
Tuesday
Model: Deco XE75
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.2.13 BUILD 20240927 REL 49388

Previously running no problem with Netgear Orbi RMR10 mesh on Virgin Hub 5 in modem mode.  About 1 month ago upgraded to XE75 system.  Followed various guides and connected first time no problem.  However, since then, approximately once every week, overnight XE75 lost connection and red light.  Simple rebooting does not resolve problem.

Before connection is lost setup is     Operation Mode : Wifi Router.   IPTV/VlLAN : Disabled  DDNS : Disabled  [ LAN IP  192.168.0.1  Subnet 255.255.255.0]  [ DHCP SERVER Start Ip 192.168.0.10 End IP 192.168.0.250  Default Gateway (Greyed Out) 192.168.0.1  Primary DNS 192.168.0.8 (Pi-hole running on UnRaid Server) Secondary DNS 1.0.0.1 ]

After connection loss, most significantly the LAN IP and Default Gateway have self changed to 192.168.1.1 and all Address Reservations similary self changed to beginning with 192.168.1.   The only way to reestablish connection is to (1) disconnecti all cables and power off XE75 and Hub. (2) Power up Hud only and reset and then after Virgin connects revert from default AP mode back to Modem mode. (3) Once Hub in Modem mode (Green light) power off and then reconnect all cables ( but not yet power) between Hub and XE75.  (4) Simultaneously power up Hub and XE75 and wait for connection and Green lights.  Sometimes have to repeat (1) to (4) to get things working.

This is obviously totally unsatisfactory and unacceptable particularly as there was no such problem with the Netgear Orbi.  I note that others have reported a similar problem. It may be related to Virgin regularly resetting something but the XE75 should be able to cater for this.

All help, ideas and positive suggestions appreciated
