Model: Archer NX200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 3.0.0 v60a2.0 Build 240309 Rel.4758n

Hello ,

I have upgraded from LTE 4G router to 5G router Archer NX200 however since that time I'm suffering big time from instability of internet connection and wifi clients keep being unable to access the network .

When the issue happens all wifi clients gets kicked out from the network , I have to plug device to router's direct LAN and udpate channel from 11 to Auto or vise versa , which makes client able to login to network again.

Another symptom of the issue that internet suddenly get "disconnected" mode and shows message to configure DNS manually , most of the time this get followed by automatic restarts by the router. Nevertheless, I have to manually restarts it and make the change in wireless and save to get access again.

TP-Link support is not helping , i have an active ticket and no resolution is provided till now !!

I was able to get the logs towards external rsyslog system , below logs in red shows the time just before the wifi client got kicked out , mac address were modified for privacy

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

First, it is suggested to update firmware to the latest according to the official website. (referring to this guide.)

If the problem remains, we need your cooperation to follow the steps below:

--Is the ISP of your SIM card from MBB?

--When the internet get unstable on the router, does the LEDs show normally on it?

Multiple factors might cause the disconnect automatically. For the LTE disconnecting issue, please try the following steps for troubleshooting:

    1. You may try to change the Network Type on Advanced > Network > Internet page for a try.

    2. Please insert the same SIM into another LTE device or even a smartphone to check if the SIM has a problem.

If the LTE connection is fine, only the wireless client devices are unstable while connecting to the router:

    1. Make sure the Router is properly placed, it should be put in an open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.

    2. log in to the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, and change the wireless channel to another one.

    3. For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust 2.4GHz channel width into 20MHz, for 5G wireless client devices, adjust 5GHz channel width into 80MHz or 40MHz to avoid interference.

Thanks for your feedback , indeed the firmware was not the latest , even that I was checking upgrade through Router's online check . I did the upgrade and I will monitor the behavior onward and update you .

seems issue is still persisting after firmware upgrade

--Is the ISP of your SIM card from MBB?

yes MBB

--When the internet get unstable on the router, does the LEDs show normally on it?

when internet get disconnected , the corresponding two LEDs gets off on the router. a message on routers for internet status says : please configure your DNS Manually . routers takes couple of minutes and force router restart . logs: (you can note that date got changed to 2016 !)

2016-01-01 01:12:39 [5] LTE: Registered with a network!

2016-01-01 01:12:39 [5] LTE: network changed: 0,0->420,1

2016-01-01 01:12:39 [5] DHCPD: Send OFFER with ip 192.168.100.102

2016-01-01 01:12:39 [5] LTE: Network type is LTE PLUS.

2016-01-01 01:12:39 [5] LTE: Start connecting to the network!

2016-01-01 01:12:39 [5] LTE: Fail to connect to the network, start autoconnect!

Multiple factors might cause the disconnect automatically. For the LTE disconnecting issue, please try the following steps for troubleshooting:

    1. You may try to change the Network Type on Advanced > Network > Internet page for a try

Updated configuration to have "MBB" as default gateway

    2. Please insert the same SIM into another LTE device or even a smartphone to check if the SIM has a problem.

This is already done , SIM has no issue in other LTE device .

If the LTE connection is fine, only the wireless client devices are unstable while connecting to the router:

    1. Make sure the Router is properly placed, it should be put in an open area instead of inside a cabinet or shelf.

it is placed in proper open place

    2. log in to the web management interface of the Router, go to Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings, and change the wireless channel to another one.

Changing the channel I have tried it multiple times .

    3. For 2.4GHz wireless client devices, adjust 2.4GHz channel width into 20MHz, for 5G wireless client devices, adjust 5GHz channel width into 80MHz or 40MHz to avoid interference.

2.4GHz is used and configuration were already optimized to 20MHz

However , I need your support and focus on below two symptoms clearly observed , client before getting connected to wifi in the logs you can see high number of lines looping like below examples. and all wifi clients gets kicked out from network not able to join again until change "channel" and save again.

2024-11-26 10:08:15 [5] Mesh: Success Add Client : MAC : 88:88:88:88:88:88

2024-11-26 10:08:20 [5] Mesh: Del Client : MAC : 88:88:88:88:88:88

2024-11-26 10:08:30 [5] Mesh: Success Add Client : MAC : 88:88:88:88:88:88

2024-11-26 10:08:35 [5] Mesh: Del Client : MAC : 88:88:88:88:88:88

2024-11-26 10:08:45 [5] Mesh: Success Add Client : MAC : 88:88:88:88:88:88

then getting finally IP assigned by DHCPD
2024-11-26 10:09:30 [5] DHCPD: Recv REQUEST from 88:88:88:88:88:88
2024-11-26 10:09:30 [5] DHCPD: Send ACK to 192.168.100.207

another incident , below behavior of DHCPD and client  FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF and DHCPD send offer and this keep repeating and overloading the system ? in same time all wifi clients were kicked out from network .  FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF is TAPO HUB H200
